Create authentic, professional-looking camo on nearly any surface with a camouflage paint stencil from Stencil Ease. Since 1980, we have laser-cut every stencil in our Connecticut facility using durable, reusable materials that hold up to repeated use. Whether you are painting a duck boat, a deer blind, a truck, or a bedroom wall, our camouflage stencil patterns give you a realistic result without the cost of a professional paint job.

Why Paint Camo with Stencils?

Freehand camouflage is hard to get right. Spray it without a guide, and you often end up with blobs that look painted on instead of blended in. Camouflage painting stencils solve that problem by giving you crisp, layered shapes that mimic the natural patterns found in woods, marshes, and brush.

A few reasons our customers choose stencils over freehand or vinyl wraps:

  • Professional appearance: Layered stencil patterns create depth and realism that freehand painting rarely achieves.
  • Affordable: A stencil kit and a few cans of paint cost a fraction of a custom wrap or professional spray job.
  • Reusable: Our stencils are cut from tough, flexible material, so you can use them again on your next project.
  • Easy to use: If you can hold a can of spray paint, you can get great results. No artistic skill required.
Camo Stencil

Each camouflage painting stencil in this collection is designed to be layered in stages. Start with a base coat, then build up two or three colors through the stencil openings to create a blended, dimensional finish that looks like it came from the factory.

How to Get the Best Results

Getting a clean, realistic finish with camo painting stencils comes down to a few simple habits:

  1. Prep the surface. Clean it thoroughly and apply a flat base coat in your lightest color.
  2. Work light to dark. Layer your mid-tone and darkest colors last so the pattern reads with natural depth.
  3. Use light coats. Several thin passes of spray paint prevent runs and bleed under the stencil edges.
  4. Reposition and repeat. Move the stencil and rotate it between passes so the pattern never looks repetitive.

Flat or matte paints work best for a true camouflage look, since glossy finishes reflect light and defeat the purpose.
