MUTCD standard Preferential Lane Symbol

This stencil marks a preferential lane for roadways. These stencils are designed to help improve traffic safety.  At over 13 feet long and nearly 4 feet wide, with a stroke width of 9 inches, this stencil comes in multiple pieces that easily fit together to provide a complete Preferential Lane marking..

Our MUTCD stencils are laser-cut on durable 1/8" (125-mil) or 1/16" (60-mil) thick LLDPE plastic that lays flat and guarantees professional painting results. Each Preferential Lane Symbol ships as a TWO-PIECE set. Our stencils can be used with any painting equipment or spray application available. All stencils can be cleaned and reused many times.

The sheet size this stencil is cut on guarantees a minimum of 4" around for over spray.

All of our stencils are made from LLDPE. This material is extremely durable, will relax and lay flat quickly, and is very easy to clean. The 1/8^th inch is preferred by contractors and is more rigid then the 1/16^th inch. The 1/16^th is excellent for less frequent use.  Both can be used and cleaned hundreds of times.
